The Health Federation of Philadelphia’s Early Head Start (EHS) program and the University of Pennsylvania School Of Dental Medicine (Penn Dental) are working together to help address the shortage of dentists serving the Medicaid and CHIP population.
Each month, staff members from the Health Federation of Philadelphia’s (HFP) Early Head Start (EHS) program gather in the site’s wellness center for activities focused on wellness and resiliency. Last month’s program was a green living health fair living entitled Keen to Be Green.

Philadelphia – Kristin Walker, HFP’s coordinator of the Perinatal HIV Prevention Project, presented at the Fourth Annual Public Health Day Symposium held by the College of Physicians of Philadelphia on April 3. Over 100 people and 20 presenters attended the symposium to learn about the variety of programs offered within the Philadelphia public health community.
